WE PREDICT HUMAN INJURY IN ANY ENVIRONMENT
Our Forensic Investigation services specialize in injury biomechanics, incident reconstruction, and product safety to determine injury causation and prevention. We report these findings and testify our expert opinions in a court of law if necessary. Our Research & Training services specialize in research to evaluate existing products or aid our clients in new product development, and our Continuing Professional Development Training focuses on the Science of Violence® by providing webinars and customized live training. Typical clients include safety product companies, legal professionals, police officers, social workers, engineers, health professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about our practice areas and small business process.
When our Principal, Geoffrey Thor Desmoulin, Ph.D., R.Kin., P.L.Eng., opened GTD Scientific Inc. in 2009 his goal was simple: Provide the highest quality biomechanical consulting services available. Since that day, our experience has garnered us Federal and Supreme Court qualifications and an extensive international client list, making GTD your first choice.
Geoffrey has two degrees in Kinesiology and two in Engineering with a sub-specialty in the Science of Violence®, giving him a unique skill set for understanding human injury from a biomechanical perspective. He combines this with firsthand encounters with injury as an emergency medical technician, firefighter, Karate black belt, and the former engineering expert on Viacom’s hit TV series, Deadliest Warrior. Most importantly, when finding answers Geoffrey draws on over fifteen years of practical, hard-earned experience gained while investigating a wide range of criminal and civil cases, as well as research projects that enabled Geoffrey and the team at GTD to further expand their knowledge base.
